This is Dozer. He is approximately 2 yrs old and a Mastiff mix. He is GREAT with cats and kids, but not good with most other dogs. He is a huge lover. He is returning to Colossal as his current owner said she doesn't have enough time for him. I seriously don't understand how anyone could say this about their baby (pet) it's freaking ridiculous. Not only are (what is perceived/known as) "Pit Bulls" one of the most loyal breeds of dog, they are one of the least human aggressive and friendliest breeds around! Don't be fooled by the hype. Ask me anything you ever wanted to know about this breed and I can answer it for you. I have two so-called aggressive breeds - a Pit Bull and a Chow and they get along swimmingly. My Pit Bull loves all people! If anyone ever broke into our house - he would more than likely lick them to death! LOL.

In the meantime - see if you REALLY know a Pit Bull from other types of dogs?

Did you know that Breed Specific Legislation doesn't just discriminate against "Pit Bulls" but any dog that matches the characteristics and/or could be "perceived" as a Pit Bull? How ridiculous is that?
